Coral stones quarry (Manda Island)
On Manda island (archipelago of Lamu - Kenya), workers buy plots of land to dig and make coral stone bricks. The bricks of 18cm are transported by boat and donkeys to Lamu island to renovate luxurious properties.
The island has a school, a few shops, a cinema, as well as a café set up a young woman (Elizabeth Njambunde) and her mother to prepare meals for the workers.
